I have always loved there free spirited sense of fashion/hairstyles.

To create the look of effortless waves like Mary Kate and Ashley, try using a rod curling iron. A rod curling iron is clampless and disperses the heat throughout the whole barrel.
Wrap your hair around the curling rod leaving about an inch if hair unwrapped. This will give your waves a more natural look. Wrap about two inch sections of hair at a time, wrapping the hair all toward the back of your head.

TIP: when you use a rod iron try keeping the handle pointed towards the ceiling, this will make it much easier to wrap.

Lock in the volume by holding your hair up while lightly hair spraying, allow to dry for a couple seconds before you let go.
